Expansion tank with self-draining valve is the hydraulic protection of the fireplace with a water jacket. Its task is to compensate for changes in water volume caused by changes in its temperature. The tank is connected to the pipe network and receives water from the central heating system when its volume increases due to an increase in temperature.

The dish is made of stainless steel. Consists of:

- a copper float with a valve for automatic filling of the water system of the installation, powered by a fireplace with a water jacket or a fireplace with a water exchanger;

- brass mounting fittings, ensuring tightness of the connections of the overflow and the expansion pipe.

NOTE! Plates with plastic valves that have appeared on the market are not suitable for cooperation with fireplaces with a water jacket, as the high temperature deforms the float.
